LEADING MAN: Cillian Murphy

From his breakthrough at 28 Days Later to further prominence at Peaky Blinders, now to the critically acclaimed international hit Oppenheimer, each of Cillian Murphy’s silver and TV screen great performances spanning over nearly three decades are without question excellent and captivating.

The Irish actor may be just a supporting role in most of them yet he can definitely steal the spotlight as perfectly portraying a manic and frenzy supervillain in Batman Begins as Scarecrow between wearing those iconic eyeglasses and letting the eyes do the job while wearing the hideous brown face cover.

Not to mention the subtle yet profound drama in Inception as Robert Fischer Jr. addressing his inner personal conflicts with his father, and also his performance in Dunkirk as a nameless soldier. And recently in Oppenheimer as J. Robert Oppenheimer as his most compelling acting performance to date.
