A Prelude to RESORT 2017: MENSWEAR

We’ve heard about a resort (or cruise) collection for sure but somehow cannot fully decipher the difference between the more common Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter looks. Resort collection is special in a kind of way as it spans out an entire year look, it features clothing that are lightweight (mostly ready-to-wear) and your best option when you travel, think about that favorite pullover or shirt that you’d want to bring with you when you go abroad.

Resort wear can be easily viewed as similar to streetwear or casual wear. Therefore resort wear doesn’t necessarily mean a pair of spandex trunks, no, it is not just about what you’d wear on a resort or while on vacation.

So you wanna get ahead your Resort 2017 menswear? Here are some of the best looks from Filipino designers Rajo Laurel, Ivarluski Aseron and Francis Libiran presented during Fashion Exhange International event.
