Manila Fashion Festival takes our fashion senses from the Next to the Beyond this season as the revolution continues boasting with more than 50 fashion designers, brands and collaborations dictating what is the beyond with the best of Philippine fashion and style trends.

The first day kicked off with some of the most sought after and influential fashion forward designers in the metro. Exciting collaboration and marking a first in Manila Fashion Festival is with the leading local men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine – Garage magazine, which featured five in the moment menswear designers and brands. Show opener AirAsia showcased Philippine cultural icons and Gyle clothing also marked its first time for the show.

Here are the highlights from the show.

AIRASIA presents collaboration with fashion designers Esme Palaganas and Jerome Tayao in depicting the undeniable beauty of Philippine art and destinations.

Esme Palaganas goes Beyond with Hagdan collection that is deep-rooted in Philippine culture and classic glamour.

Jerome Tayao goes Beyond with Colors of Coron collection that is true to the island’s vivid and captivating wonders.

ANTHONY RAMIREZ

Anthony Ramirez goes Beyond with Miranda collection representing the dominating prowess of a woman in fashion and in style.

ROB ORTEGA

Rob Ortega goes Beyond with The Southern Belle collection featuring the sweet innocence in dramatic silhouettes and floral prints.

VEEJAY FLORESCA

Veejay Floresca goes Beyond with Hallgrímskirkja collection taking inspiration from the architecture of Reykjavík’s main landmark church with its impressive forms and shapes.

GARAGE

Ziggy Savella together with Garage Magazine go Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival with the ease of Mediterranean cruise and menswear boho.

PROUDRACE together with Garage Magazine go Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival bringing the sexy cool in oversized streetwear.

Jinggo Inoncillo together with Garage Magazine go Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival injecting the comic strip fun in street menswear.

Mark Tamayo together with Garage Magazine go Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival showcasing utilitarian and street style crossover with the five piece

LSW together with Garage Magazine go Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival giving a twist in menswear staple.

GYLE

GYLE Clothing keeps up with the revolution and goes Beyond at Manila Fashion Festival showcasing 15 cool and standout looks.

CHEETAH RIVERA

Cheetah Rivera goes Beyond with the Daisy collection taking inspiration from the character of the same name from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” turning the effervescent flapper looks into a contemporary charm.

JAZ CEREZO

Jaz Cerezo goes Beyond with Alta 2.0 collection featuring elegant, modern high slit dresses and flattering silhouettes.

MIA ARCENAS

Mia Arcenas goes Beyond with Riviera collection featuring bold and flowy dresses made for quick getaways and for long summer nights.
