Manila Fashion Festival takes our fashion senses from the Next to the Beyond this season as the revolution continues boasting with more than 50 fashion designers, brands and collaborations dictating what is the beyond with the best of Philippine fashion and style trends.
The first day kicked off with some of the most sought after and influential fashion forward designers in the metro. Exciting collaboration and marking a first in Manila Fashion Festival is with the leading local men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine – Garage magazine, which featured five in the moment menswear designers and brands. Show opener AirAsia showcased Philippine cultural icons and Gyle clothing also marked its first time for the show.
Here are the highlights from the show.
AIRASIA presents collaboration with fashion designers Esme Palaganas and Jerome Tayao in depicting the undeniable beauty of Philippine art and destinations.
Esme Palaganas goes Beyond with Hagdan collection that is deep-rooted in Philippine culture and classic glamour.
Jerome Tayao goes Beyond with Colors of Coron collection that is true to the island’s vivid and captivating wonders.

Anthony Ramirez goes Beyond with Miranda collection representing the dominating prowess of a woman in fashion and in style.
ROB ORTEGA
Rob Ortega goes Beyond with The Southern Belle collection featuring the sweet innocence in dramatic silhouettes and floral prints.

Veejay Floresca goes Beyond with Hallgrímskirkja collection taking inspiration from the architecture of Reykjavík’s main landmark church with its impressive forms and shapes.
