Day Two of Arab Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2021 presented five designer collection fashion films and a Council Talks session with Jacon Abrian, Founder & Chief Executive of Arab Fashion Council joined by Allyson Portee, Fashion Contributor for Forbes. They mused at digital presentations that thrives with creativity. Fashion in hibernation yet it allows creativity to reboot, restart, and pave the way for upcoming designers to catch up. Digital fashion weeks may be in for now, but it won’t be able to replace physical fashion shows which serves as an avenue for buyers, journalists, and the creative teams to get together. Menswear is expected to increase its sales between 2020 and 2024 and Arab Fashion Week Men’s positioned itself timely in influencing the men in the region, not only those who have access to luxury but also the ones who can go with streetwear, to explore their style, fashion sense, and complement with womenswear.
The three-day Arab Fashion Week Men’s was broadcasted on YouTube last January 28 to 30, 2021 with the aim to promote regional designers and the industry worldwide, coordinated by Arab Fashion Council, in collaboration with Fédération De La Haute Couture Et De La Mode (FHCM).
