Filipino actor Dennis Trillo flaunted Francis Libiran Art Deco looks at the 78th Venice International Film Festival as he and the rest of Filipino team represented Philippines for the crime thriller film On The Job: The Missing 8, directed by Erik Matti, which premiered at the said film festival last September 10, 2021.
Dennis Trillo wore a custom black Francis Libiran art deco suit during the film premier and then a custom Francis Libiran art deco Barong Tagalog for the awards night, similar with the designs worn by the Philippine team last 2019 SEA Games Opening Ceremonies. The film On The Job: Missing 8 (or OJT 2) written by Michiko Yamamoto is a sequel to the 2013 film On The Job, which tells an entangled personal interests between a journalist and an assassin set on a corrupt government. The film qualified at the 78th Venice International Film Festival – Main International Competition for the Golden Lion and won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor award for lead actor John Arcilla. Dennis Trillo plays the role of Roman Rubio, a freed hitman who plans to regain his freedom. The film is released as a mini-series for HBO Asia and can be watched on the streaming service HBO Go.
