Here we are, more of the edgy and trendy Filipino menswear, I am not surprised of the abundance of real design talent and showmanship here. The fashion designers, creative and production teams are really setting the bar higher and higher every show and every season. Based on my count, in a year there has to be like, five well-produced men’s fashion runway show events here in Manila, and I’m not talking about a one day, one collection show, these are fashion weeks, huge mall shows, massive audience and a merge of local-international retail brands and designer collections.

SM Supermall hosts the bi-annual Philippine Fashion Week at SMX Convention Center, Robinsons Mall has the Pilipinas Men’s Fashion Week, also a bi-annual event and Ayala Malls have Mensweek, as part of Style Origins fashion events across all Ayala Malls in the country. Nearing the event’s finale this year is the Alabang Town Center leg where the success and production are no different from other legs. We are really taking menswear seriously.

In this Mensweek, we get to see more of Filipino fashion designer’s stylish menswear looks from the best of their Holiday 2014 collections including the critically acclaimed and commercially successful JPNY and Holiday 2014 collections of Jeffrey Rogador, plus more of the top names in local menswear like Ulysses King, Anthony Nocom, Renan Pacson, Chris Diaz, Anthony Ramirez, Joey Samson, M Barretto, Norman Noriega and so, so much more.
