The classic shapes and vibrant tones kept the collection young and cohesive. While each look is as interestingly tasteful as the next, the last look undeniably brought the pow and lasting impact on the collection.

White. Neoprene. T-shirt. What’s written on it in bold letters is what made it rigorously special. The second it walked out of the runway, everybody wanted a piece of it, paving way for a brand new collection called JPNY. Cubao, Divisoria, Dapitan, Quiapo and the rest, not only they are among the busiest urban hotspots in the metro, moreover for the most of Filipinos, these destinations are a huge part of our lives. We may have worked, finished our studies here or simply because of its cultural significance, these destinations are close to our hearts. And what better way to reach each destination the good old Filipino way – is to simply ride a jeepney! Hence, where Rogador’s JPNY collection got its inspiration.

JPNY_CUBAOJust right after that awesome neoprene t-shirt’s appearance during the Philippine Fashion Week, style editors and fashion enthusiasts were raving about it on social media and the whole wide blogosphere. In one to two weeks’ time, celebrities, magazine editors and fellow designers were already sporting the beloved t-shirt marking its wonderful commercial success. What’s more, looks and pieces from his Holiday 2014 and JPNY collections continued to be showcased at Ayala Malls’ Style Origins Mensweek runway shows across the country, and Rogador was there to document it, visit his Instagram account @jeffreyrogador for the behind-the-scenes photos.
