Personally, the Day Four of Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Season 12 is by far the most exciting day for me as for the showcase of designer collection looks. Not only that all six designers managed to pull off menswear looks on their collections, but also the designers were able to push the men’s fashion envelope even further with gender bending pieces and silhouettes, and streetwear looks that are a notch higher and are unforgivingly ahead of our time – if you follow the shows of London Fashion Week: Men’s or Tokyo Fashion Week, you’d know what I’m talking about.
There are pieces that has a menswear fashion element to them but are worn by female models, and interestingly there are looks that are of the other way around. I’m glad that this season of Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival we have more fluidity and genuine designs and styling, too.
