Dope Americana at MET GALA 2021

This year’s Met Gala squeezed its way right between the busy and fashionable September wherein lots of lots of red carpet and fashion runway events are all happening following easing of community restrictions in New York. Still held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the gala celebrated the Costume Institute’s newest exhibition, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”. The menswear looks pay homage to the past and present influences of American fashion and tailoring, and of course, the star-spangled flag colors.
