Once again the Filipino Pride proudly shines with the “SINAG” barong designed by Francis Libiran highlighting the courageous athletes in vivid colors of the Philippine Flag in red, blue, white and yellow – reflecting the strength and valor of the people, history, and culture.

“Inspired by the tattoo patterns of the Pintados Tribe and the powerful rays of the Sun. Like the Pintados, our Filipino athletes are brave heroes ready for battle, proudly raising our flag on the global arena. Resilient like the sun, Filipinos rise and shine despite life’s challenges.”

The Philippine Team is represented by 22 outstanding athletes in nine sport namely athletics, boxing, fencing, golf, gymnastics, judo, rowing, swimming, and weightlifting.

Celebrating the 100th year participation in the Summer Olympics Games, Team Philippines proudly sailed along the Seine River during the Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony with Nesthy Petecio and Carlo Paalam as flag-bearers.
